Watch hotels bid on a crew's rooms
Four rooms for twelve weeks near a sample job site. Eight hotels get the request, six bid and four come down on price. The contractor awards a $92 hotel under a mile from the site over an $89 one twelve miles out. It's their call, every time. 35 seconds.
